After the challenge, comes the bless.

After the trial, the blessing comes. The Lord had promised Abraham and Sarah a son, and that promise was finally fulfilled. Through this son, the redemption of his descendants will unfold, and from this genealogy our Savior, Jesus Christ, would emerge.

In Genesis 22:8, Abraham confidently responds to his son who asks about the lamb for the burnt offering, stating, “God will provide.” In his heart, Abraham knew that God would not take his son from him, since he had promised that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the sky or as the sand on the seashore.

When God tests us, he not only examines our character, but he also provides for us in the process. Even David, being king, was subjected to tests, but he understood that God was also with Solomon and did not harm him. This is how God blessed Abraham because of his faith and obedience. God guides us through processes to take us to a higher level.

It is crucial to allow the fruits of the Spirit to manifest in us during trials, as this allows us to rise in our faith and character. We must understand that God must always come first, even before our children or anything else in life.

With gratitude and blessings,
