Among us

Estimated reading time: 3 minutes.

  1. Jesus, the Purpose of the Nativity:

In Latin, “adventus” means arrival or appearance. The advent of Jesus Christ highlights the centrality of his message in the Bible. To remember the nativity is to remember the divine purpose of reconciling humanity with God. Jesus came to save what was lost, fulfilling God’s saving plan.

  1. God’s Entry into the World:

From creation in Genesis, God demonstrated his omnipotence. However, the arrival of Jesus marks a unique moment. God became flesh, being born of the Virgin Mary. This miracle shows that Jesus is God incarnate, the same God of Genesis who said: “Let us make man in our image.” Jesus Christ came to solve the problem of sin and eternal damnation.

  1. Jesus Among Us:

In the house of the Lord, we experience the special presence of God. We come to worship explicitly, seeking an encounter with our Creator. Jesus, being God, transforms our lives in his presence. Let us remember the supernatural experiences from the birth of Jesus to his miracles, showing that He is the Savior of the world.

  1. God Became Flesh to Save Us:

God desired a direct and perfect relationship with humanity, as in the time of Adam. However, sin introduces death, illness, and selfishness. Man could not save himself. Therefore, God provides the means of salvation: Jesus Christ. Christmas is the maximum expression of this divine effort to reach us and save us.

In this season of advent, let us share the love of Jesus with others, recognizing that only through Him can we find salvation and eternal life. May this message transform our hearts and lead us to worship the incarnate God.
