Idolatry has always been the downfall of my people. It is no secret that I am a jealous God. The idols of today are more subtle than those of ancient times because the false gods of today are often outside the realm of religion.

People, possessions, social positions and self-aggrandizement are some of the most popular gods today. Beware of bowing down to these things. False gods never give satisfaction; rather they tempt more and more each time.

When you seek me instead of the idols of the world you will experience my joy and my peace. These intangible values ​​will quench the thirst of your soul providing deep satisfaction. The brightness of the world is small and temporary. The light of my Presence is dazzling and lasts forever. Walk in the light with me. In this way you will be a beacon through whom others will approach me.
