In the manner of Christ.

Brothers and sisters, speak and act in the manner of Christ, our Master and example. As Christians, we identify with Christ, who is our Lord and Savior. Following Jesus is our commitment and our identity.

Ephesians 5:22-23 teaches us about submission in marriage: “Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church.” Just as Christ loved the church and sacrificed himself for it, we also must love and serve our family and others.

Matthew 20:28 reminds us that Jesus came not to be served, but to serve. Colossians 3:13 urges us to bear with each other and forgive one another, just as the Lord forgave us. James 5:16 encourages us to confess our sins to one another and to pray for each other so that we may be healed.

Furthermore, we should pray for one another in times of need and rejoice together in times of joy. James 5:13 encourages us to pray in times of trouble and to sing praises in times of joy. James 5:14-15 speaks of the power of prayer and the importance of seeking help and support from the community of believers.

It is important to live in unity and harmony, bearing with and forgiving one another, to glorify God together. Romans 15:5-6 reminds us that God gives us the same attitude as Christ Jesus, so that together we may glorify the Father in heaven. We must also seek and bring back those who have strayed from the truth, as saving a soul from error is of great value to God.

Our mission as a church is to care for and shepherd souls, to welcome those who come to the feet of Christ, and to bring the Gospel to those who have not yet heard it. We believe in faith that God will bring new souls to the feet of Christ this Sunday and always! Romans 15:8 encourages us to welcome others as Christ has welcomed us, with love and grace.

Sincerely, Pastor Guillermo Ayala
