Introduction

The foundation of our faith is not based on an idea… it is based on a fact:
Jesus Christ died, but He also rose again.

As it was said in the teaching:
If Christ had not risen, our faith would be in vain.

But today we celebrate a glorious truth:
👉 The tomb is empty!
👉 Christ is alive!

The Resurrection Confirms Our Faith

After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to many people over a period of 40 days (Acts 1:3).

It was not a myth or an illusion… it was a proven reality.

He appeared to people who were:

• Discouraged
• Doubtful
• Afraid

And every encounter produced the same result:
➡️ Renewed faith
➡️ Strengthened hearts

Today, Jesus also wants to remove every doubt from your heart and establish you in the truth.

We Live for an Eternal Kingdom

Jesus did not come to establish a political kingdom, but a spiritual one.

The Kingdom of God is:

• Righteousness
• Peace
• Joy in the Holy Spirit

Our mission is not to build fame or earthly success…
👉 It is to live and proclaim the Kingdom of God.

Not by Human Strength, but by the Power of the Spirit

Before the disciples went out to preach, Jesus told them to wait.

Why?
Because the mission is not fulfilled by human effort… but by divine power.

📖 Acts 1:8 teaches us:
👉 We will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes
👉 We will be His witnesses everywhere

It’s not about how much you know…
👉 It’s about how much you depend on the Holy Spirit.

The Resurrection Gives Us Eternal Hope

Jesus ascended into heaven, but He left a promise:
👉 Just as He went… He will return.

This is our hope:

• We will see Him face to face
• This is not the end… it is the eternal beginning

Live each day with expectation, not fear.
👉 Christ is coming back for His church.

“It Is Finished”: The Debt Was Paid

When Jesus said on the cross, “It is finished” (John 19:30), He declared something powerful:

👉 The debt was fully paid
👉 Nothing was left undone

It was not a partial payment…
It was a perfect and complete work.

You don’t have to earn your salvation
You no longer carry guilt
👉 Christ has already done EVERYTHING for you

Implications for Today

The empty tomb produces in us:

✔ Confidence – God is in control
✔ Mission – We are called to preach
✔ Testimony – Share what Christ has done in us
✔ Hope – He is coming back

The tomb is empty… but your heart should not be.
👉 Christ didn’t only rise in history
👉 He wants to live in your life today

🙏 Prayer

Lord Jesus,
thank You because You conquered death and today You are alive.
Thank You because You paid my debt on the cross
and gave me a new life.

Today I affirm my faith in You,
I renounce all doubt
and receive Your power to live and testify.

Help me to live with purpose,
with hope,
and with the certainty that one day I will see You face to face.
